FTMs! Some interesting/helpful what to expect. You will sweat more, esp in your sleep to get rid of extra water. You will bleed large blood clots after birth to make up for 9 months of no period. You may bleed for all 6 weeks, sometimes more sometimes less. The bleeding, called lochia (pronounced lokia) has a wierd distinct smell, but having the smell is normal. C section ladies, hold your tummy incision when you wipe for peeing and sitting down. C section ladies, if you have to scoot your butt forward or backward, hold onto your incision/the skin below incision to decrease pain. Again, the breast tissue grown in your armpit may leak milk. If allergic to the hospital panties/tape, request to wear your own or remove the tape as you can and will get an infection which slows healing. Did I miss anything?
