@juliaschade41 i had all of mine after 39 weeks. I understand the women who can't help when their babies come early. I know of plenty of babies that come out healthy before duedate and some that have to be in the nicu because their bodies aren't mature yet. A week makes tons of difference.

@theinkedmommy aww!! Yeah my friends baby is big lol I'm almost 37 weeks and my baby is over 5 pounds right now.

My neice was just born about 2months ago at 38 weeks and only weighed 4lbs 6oz

@mommyof2boys24 its fine hun. I wasn't trying to start anything. That's why i also said that it depends on measurements too. I'm ready to have my baby too lol im almost 37 weeks. Need to start walking more lol

@juliaschade41, Lainey was like 3-4 lbs at 37 weeks, so I was terrified to go into labor earlier because both me and her father were born at 37 weeks and we were only 5 lbs.

@theinkedmommy it does depend on the baby. I personally wouldn't want mine born at 37 weeks but the docs do say if they do come early, then 37 weeks is fine. It also depends on the measurements too. I have a friend who is 37 weeks and her baby is measuring like 2 weeks ahead and is 6 pounds, and she could have her any day.

My sons measuring ahead has been since 32 weeks.. But some places are different just like babys are different but i wouldn't try if he wasn't fully developed and doctor hadn't told me he would be fine and im 38 weeks

@mommyof2boys24 no no I completely agree. My doc told me too that the earliest would be 37 too. Not denying that at all. I think docs would just prefer it to be 39 weeks for the final touches of the brain and lungs and such. But yes i believe a baby would be fine at 37 weeks, but if they're not ready, they're just not ready. I agree with both of you and your points. Neither one of you is wrong. 💖💖

@js_kidsmom it is 39. The policy changed not too long ago. Im sure a baby would still be fine at 37 but i understand y'alls point.

@juliaschade41 my doctor told me at my last appointment its perfectly fine for him to come were i live they say 37 weeks is the earliest

Ive tried walking and pineapple today and ive been doing squats and my bf is scared hes going to hurt the baby 😡

My son is perfectly healthy and is fully developed im 38 weeks not like im 10 weeks before my due date trying to start labor

Why are you trying to get it started early? Full term doesn't begin until 39 weeks.
