I get a lot of UTIs (just unlucky that way) and if I woke up one morning and found that someone had sliced off part of my genitals without asking me just so I could have like one or two fewer UTIs, I would be so unforgivingly pissed. I mean, really, we're going to slice off a piece of their dick so they might, maybe, someday have to take one fewer round of antibiotics to cure a mildly annoying problem? No. Just, no.

It has never been replicated in infants in a first world nation. Also, the graphic above says Indiana the state, not India the country.
Just putting this out because I love this one! I get uti's all the time but I would have been super mad if my parents would have circumcised me! Let me choose when I get older and can have pain meds and I can be put under while the surgery is happening! @sarahmartinez817, I thought you might like this one too!
I also just want to put out there that I am all in favor of mothers making the choices that are right for their children. What scares me is that many don't realize how out of date those old studies were, or that the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics have both recently marked male circumcision as "elective" after years of having it be "recommended" based on more modern research. It's just a habit for us now, and our boys deserve us at least doing more research before we make these kinds of decisions for them. We're not the ones that need to live with the results on our bodies for the rest of our lives.

@annekam1022, I know that Hun I hope I didn't offend anyone with my comment. I got my son circumcised it was a personal decision made amongst me and his father that's why I said to each their own

This is also based on a study put off in 2007 medicine has come a long way since and from India also....so 🤷🏻♀️ to each their own I guess.

@sarahmartinez817, I totally agree! A lot of parents don't realize that a lot of countries don't circumcise unless medically necessary which is rare!
