Is there any home remedies for diaper rash that have been proven to work ? If diaper rash cream doesn't work, I want to try something else. My daughter has had explosive diarrhea all day & it caused her to get a rash. She's one & this is her first rash. She screams & jumps around when I change her diaper because it burns so bad, even when I just dab the wet wipe on her. All day I've used Aquaphor that says to get rid of diaper rash in 6 hours & before she went to sleep, I loaded her up with bordeaux's butt paste. Just want all of her pain to go away because once again, I feel so helpless !!! Help please

@catrinaguerrero, my mom gave me that advice after my LO had a rash for a week bc of the same issue. And after I applied rash cream it took about 1 day to clear out and 2 days to get back to normal :) good luck to you!
@mi.mommy, I just used some paper towels that I soaked in water. Patted her dry with a towel then put more cream on her. I've never heard not to use baby wipes when a rash happens. Glad I read it & it was mentioned to me. Thank you
@emiliasmommy15, I just read not to use wipes also. I just woke her up to change her diaper & I just used napkins that I wet with water. I patted her dry with a towel. Reapplied Bordeaux's. Thank you
@masonsmom0609, I've heard mixed things about corn starch but I think it only makes it worse if there's broken skin
@sallygogoladze, the honest cream is the best one - it saved me when my LO had a rash!
On top, I can recommend to not use wipes, try cotton balls with water
When my daughter has a disper rash i dont use wipes to wipe because they cause it to get worse for some reason and it does not matter wat wipes i use. I would go to the bathroom and wash her butt and patt it dry or let it air dry and then i would seriously slatter on tons of aquaphor or A&D oitment on before putting a diaper on those two creams are the only ones tht work for my daughter.. Destin and creams like it make it worse as well i have no idea why. But thats how i get rid of her rashes and it rly works for us
After you wipe her let her air dry completely! Then carefully apply cornstarch, you can use a cotton ball to do it and just pat it on.

Does anyone know what else works for a bad diaper rash ?? Idk why my baby is pooping so much but she poops at least 3-4 times after each feed & its making her rash worst. I dab when i clean her instead of wiping to avoid from irritating it & ive even tried changing the kind of formula twice. The poop is not even alot its probably like 2 or 3 little wet drops on the diaper but i feel so bad because i know that it hurts her. & ive triedd all these products !!
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! My sitter used cottonelle wet wipes on my baby! Now she has huge rash!!! I totally get that my SO forgot to put the wipes in her diaper bag. But she could have told one of us and we could have brought her some or she could have went to the store and I could pay her back. I don't get it. She buys her clothes and toys, takes her places while I'm at work. The store is literally a 5 minute walk from her house. But she decided cottonelle wipes are ok? Ugh. Rant over.
