Not only my dad side family is upset with me cause they think I'm so called "poor" ✌✌🙄 but because I'm not married yet with another kid on the way, they think different now.... since they Christian and order to have a successful life is to get you diploma from highschool 🎓 which I did, get my degree from college, met to a guy, get married to lose my virginity, live in a nice house and have kids by order.... WTF so they mad cause I did out of order my life! WTF no one ain't prefect and that's family tradition is so 1920s WTF!

Girl don't even worry about it foreal. Let them judge you. Are you happy? Cuz if you are happy, nothing else matters :)

My family is the exact same way! And I'm the same as you, 2nd baby on the way, not married. I have to just let it go or else it would make me miserable!

As long as you're happy. My dad is the same way, although I will admit he has no religion, but he always wanted the best for me and wanted me to be successful before thinking about children but he's warming up. I can tell he's still a little uncomfortable when he talks about but he'll text me here and there and ask how I'm doing and if the baby is okay. Once the new addition is here all that anger they have will melt away. Wishing the best for you and your family!

I'm christian too, but I believe that especially family should show love, compassion, acceptance, and offer help instead of judgment. Thats the core of my faith. I'm really bad about judging but I try to get better about it. I'm only human, but your own family should be more happy and supportive of you. If they can't then they should stop and think before speaking. If its not helpful, it doesn't need to be said
