New preggo lady here! Almost 5 whole weeks along. I have been having insomnia a lot which brought here!
@amadamforbes omg. That was wonderful. I listened to one and fell asleep like a baby for maybe 30 mins. Me & creepy man are BFF.
😂😂😂 I'll let you know if I find him and then of the creepy dreams I have about him. 😬💇
Lol nice😂! I love puns and witty jokes! 😅 Anyways, its all over YouTube! Just type in ASMR there's a bunch of people making their own videos now. There's this guy who's really into what he does and has videos that are hours long! He has such a creepy yet relaxing voice. (Thats where I got the barbers shop example from so you may be able to find him by looking that up, I'll look too and attach a link if I find him) I don't remember his name but if you see a skinny foreign dude with crooked teeth, that's the guy to go to haha. @rowdymama
@amadamforbes that sounds (haha pun!) amazing. Is there an app? Where do you find these?
@rowdymama The videos are kind of weird but have you heard of or tried listening to ASMR? It helps a lot of people fall asleep. ASMR are videos of people touching, scratching, tapping, etc. on things that may give the viewer a relaxing or a satisfied feeling. It can also be someone speaking softly into their microphone saying trigger words that may give the same effect. Some people even do roleplay ASMR and use objects to make sounds into the L or R ear so it's a realistic experience. I.g: The Snipping of scissors in a role-play of being at a barbers shop. believe it or not, it's gaining a lot of popularity. I've occasionally listened to these videos in order to relax since it's beginning. These triggers to the brain have recently been discovered. It's quite interesting.
@amadamforbes thank you! It's very exciting. I hope I can figure out some ways to curb the insomnia. It's going to punch me in the face on Monday when I go back to work (teacher, Monday = day #1)
