Just wondering how many people got an accurate gender scan at 14 weeks? I mean I know it's still really early but I just wanted an idea. Like if you got an ultrasound at 14 weeks and were told a *possible gender and you find out later it was accurate. My next appointment I will be 14 weeks and they are doing another ultrasound. My clinic normally only does 3 until the last 4 weeks then you get one every week until birth. My doctor called for me to have another ultrasound next appointment which isn't usual. But I'm guessing it is because of my previous miscarriage seeing as they all said my baby is completely healthy. Perfect size measuring exactly where it should be. Heart beat 170. Even saw the little bean wiggling around a bit. They decided to also wait until my next appointment to do all the blood work and the exam. So this first appointment was just an ultrasound and basically a consult with my doctor. Which is fine. But I guess my questions are about finding out a gender at 14 weeks and also whether or not there could be a reason that I'm having another ultrasound and they waited for the blood work and exam a week. I think probably the miscarriage but I didn't think to ask.
