@avie, I am the same way, I didn't sleep the whole time we were in the hospital because I kept checking on her. I feel like the owlet is well worth it, it gives me peace of mind. There have been a handful of nights we have forgotten to put it on her and I definitely did not sleep as well. It definitely isn't cheap but we justified the purchase because she is our first and we'll be able to use it for all of our babies. The only thing I don't like is that the sock and the base station have to be pretty close together or they lose connection, so if you pick baby up and walk away it yells at you. Although I think the newer ones have a longer range than mine does!

@nicoler, yes! So do you think it's worth my purchase? I have a slight ocd problem with double checking. So I'm up and out of bed checking to see if my baby is breathing 3 times almost every hour. I will wake up out of my sleep to check. Or just stay up too late. Do you like it? & is it worth me buying for that specific reason?
