I am new here. I've got a little boy who's 18months old and found out yesterday I am pregnant after an ectopic pregnancy last year which ended in emergency surgery and losing my right tube. Only 3 or 4 weeks gone and never expected to get pregnant again. Very scared and worried because if everything that happened last year. When would b the earliest they could do a scan to make sure there is an embryo and not a repeat of the EP.

They should be able to locate the foetus at 5 weeks, at 6 they will even see a heartbeat. Xxx

@kate_smith Thank you :) yeah was thinking to wait to get a scan. Think I'm entitled to an early scan due to the EP. I almost lost my life because it went on for over a month and the tube was that infected that they struggled to stop the bleeding. So I wanna make sure everything is ok this time xxx

Hiya. They will definitely find a foetus around week 6 I had two miscarriages in a row and was dead scared like you when third pregnancy started but it went well and no I have a 12 weeks old boy. Stay strong xx
