Wish my mom would understand that I DON'T want my dad in my delivery room. I don't even want her in there. Tbh. I know that sounds bad, but I just want a POSITIVE environment in my room & having my mom in there isn't positive at all. I know the way she gets + having my dad in my delivery room is just weird to me. (idk why? anyone else think this too?) all I want is my husband & my best friend to be there. THAT'S ALL. But knowing how my family is my mom , my sister & my dad will all want to be there. It's kind of ANNOYING & FRUSTRATING my mom is trying to make MY decisions. Like stop! Seriously. I just want her to just stop.
@veropetty you have your friend and husband to help you stand up for what you want. Use them, they're there to help you.
@tiredmom, man this is going to be a tough one. seriously 😌
@veropetty you just have to remember that you're the mom now. What you say goes.
@tiredmom, I figured that's how all moms are. It sucks!
@veropetty she was mad. But my sister handled it. She even tried to pick my second one up in the hallway after my c-section. The nurse jumped her shit for that one.
@tiredmom, oh man. how did your mom take it? cause, I know my mom will be beyondddddd pissed if I do that. But tbh idc, it's my day.
@veropetty I didn't want my mom in the room with me at all either time. So I told the nurse and she made her leave. I ended up having an emergency c-section the first time and luckily my sister was there to make sure my mom wasn't the first one to hold my son (one of the many reasons I didn't want her in the room)
@tiredmom, that's EXACTLY what I was thinking. Like not call my mom until I'm giving birth or something ha. Because, seriously I can just see how stressful & annoyed I'll be already.
Tell your Dr at the next appointment. Don't call your mom till you're in a room. Tell your nurse at the hospital who you want in the room. They won't allow anyone other than the people you want in the room when it's time. And yeah dad in the room is weird to me.
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
good morning beautiful mommies ! I want to know who everyone wants in the delivery room with them on the big day! I keep going back and forth between wanting just my man and I or maybe my sister and mom too. what's everyone's opinions for this first time mama ? 💞
Delivery room
Who all are you having in the room with you while giving birth?
@tiredmom, thankfully I have a husband who understands!
