Okay ladies I have a question what kind of car seat should I get my toddler he is very tall for his age and weights around 23-25lbs and is around or about 3 foot tall he is 16 months old (must be a rear facing car seat)

@momboo, we ended up getting it when she was about 5 months. She's big for her age, 98th percentile for height and 96th for weight, so she was already starting to look uncomfortable in her infant carrier. I believe you can start using it as early as you want, it has good extra body and head support. It just has to be reclined farther for younger babies!

The graco extend2fit has some of the highest rear facing limits. It's also one of the most compact seats front to back for kids who can sit unassisted. I have one for my daughter and mostly love it! The harness is hard to tighten but gets better with use, that's my only complaint.
When should I change to a high back booster? So my son is 5&1/2 years old and about 55lbs. He still in a 5 point harness car seat. When should I change him to the high back booster seat? I have the graco 3 in one seat.
Always amazed At the amount of seats that come into seat checks totally wrong. I did roughly 30 checks today and only 4 were right! Lots of babies are now safer in the car!

So I got rid of my spacious Chevy Impala and now have a compact Hyundai Elantra. I’m trying to figure out which car seat would fit best in a smaller car.?? The car seat will go behind the passenger so there will be a little more room to move the front seat up.
