My Dr.said only if you have a C section they do it same day for a vaginal birth you have to wait after 6.wks..I am considering it too.I never heard surgery before..so makes me nervous

Mine is making me get mine done after my 6 week checkup some hospitals let you get them done after delivery you should ask your doc

It depends on the hospital. But as long as the hospital does it they do it after delivery.
