Oh ok, well it sounds like your doing all you can and killing this mommy thing!!! Good for you. Hopefully things will get better for her soon. I myself have mild acid reflux and even that sucks. I couldn't imagine having it bad.

@mommiesaremagical14 yes she gets half enfamil AR and half breastmilk i pace feed her, burp her inbetween each oz and she gets zantac too. Her reflux has gotten better but all of that hasnt fixed the problem yet. But i think she needs a higher dose of the zantac because she was perscribed it when she was 2 weeks old.

Is she breastfeed or formula fed? If she's formula fed how do you feed her and what formula? There are formulas for babies with acid reflux. Feeding in a sitting up right position is best for babies with acid reflux then keeping them in an upright position for at least 20 minutes after. Like your LO my DD had acid reflux. There's also grip water that can help. I never gave it to my dd. I just always fed her upright, burped her frequently in between and kept her up right after.

@mamaprince mine was 6pounds 7oz at birth and the pedi said she wasnt gaining enough so he had me put her on formula.

@mommiesaremagical14 shes usually gets 4 oz every 2-3 hours but she has bad acid reflux too.

I never woke my DD to eat. If a baby sleeps let em sleep!!! They'll tell you when they are hungry.

Well, in an 8 hour day that's 3.5 oz every hour. If your not comfortable with that you can bump it up to 4 oz and see how she does. A 2 month old sleeping through the night is a blessing!!! My DD was sleeping through the night at 2 months as well. She was also very small. Full term and only 5.14lbs at birth. I had a hard time getting her to gain weight myself but as long as she's not loosing weight she's perfectly fine. My DD wasn't loosing weight but I did bump up her formula 1/2 an oz. She started putting on more weight at 3 months which is when she started drinking 6oz every feeding.

@mamaprince she just now started doing this the first month everytime i set her down in her bassinet she would scream and scream but the past week ive put her swaddle in the dryer before i put her in the and i feed her right before bed. She falls right asleep now.

@mommiesaremagical14 is it? She wasnt gaining weight fast enough in the first few weeks so im just scared to let her sleep so long now because im scared she wont gain weight again...but the 8 hours of sleep feels so nice lol
