Why do everyone think that just because they induced you means something is wrong w the baby or the mom i was induced & nothing was wrong with us is ur decision if u want to get induced at 39 weeks well thats what the dr had told me !!!
@athomas sometimes it does, that sucks. Some doctors are pushy because they are going on vacation or your taking to long. It isn't fair
@beebaby I wished I didn't have to be induced at 39 weeks. It ended in a c section for me. I had a medical reason unfortunately. :(
@beebaby, we all say what we think we have different opinions no worries here 🙂
I was only explaining why, i wasnt speaking on your situation. Just in general terms.
@txmomma16, my ob had told me that at 39 weeks was ok to have my baby so i decided to get induced... i couldn't take the pain so yeah !! If my ob new my baby could be on risk my inducing me i now she wouldn't do it!!
@txmomma16 I Know The Reasoning Behind It. Have been pregnant 5 times. That isnt the point, she made the statement and i replied to it. Im not telling her one way or another what she should have done. Im not her doctor. Im not being rude, she doesn't need a sidekick. If she felt i said something inappropriate the she can speak for herself. Thank you!
You were making great progress naturally, you didnt need to be induced but i understand
@beebaby, well yeah im not gon lie at first i did ask why you want to induce me she said that is if i wanted to i did wanted because i could barley even walk & it was hurting ma back but when i went to the dr i was already 4cm lol
Lots of OB's induce at 39 weeks with perfectly healthy mothers and babies. But there can be medical reasons for induction.
The reason people say that is because induction causes more harm than good is some cases and leads to c sections and is not recommended when everything is okay with mother and child. You should go full term and allow the baby to come natural, if your ob is just inducing because your 39 weeks he should be fired.

Is this the one yall drink to induce??? I'm desperate
if you have gestational diabetes do they induce early like is there a chance of something going wrong like with preeclampsia or no?
Is it wrong of me to start trying to "induce labor" naturally at 36 weeks? Just by walking and bouncing more?
I don't get why everybody be so " pressed " to be induced .. Being induced should only happen if there is something wrong with the baby not because your getting tired of carrying the child .. The baby will come when their ready .. Let them cook , when your induced they drug the baby .. Read up on inducing before you make a decision like that .. No shade to anyone either I'm just sharing a little knowledge especially to some of you young new mommies .!
@beebaby your right about that as well
