@becky1111 he made it through the operation he is doing ok hopefully be able to give him a normal feed if he stays stable with the speech and language so they can also see if he has a good swallow. The 02 is off and his saturations are 96 so hopefully fingers crossed they stay that way x

@laurabump27 he has a tiny hole in his lung where it was working to hard and popped and he has a split in his feeding pipe. So if he makes it through the operation he is just so tiny. I just hope i havent consented for my son to die.

@laurabump27 hi sorry there just preparing him for emergency theatre. His sats are 86% on 02

@sarahthe swallow could defo be laryngomalacia or just say floppy larynx! X

Mention a condition called laryngomalacia... that can cause blue spells during feeds and also aspiration x

@sarahthe So pity to hear that ,If you need advice let me know then , Im not English but will try all my best.They need to find out why your baby refusing bottle milk , Sorry for question but there no anymore chance for you to breastfeed your baby ?

@laurabump27 speech and language will assess his swallow but its horrible he went all blue in the middle of a feed i had to pull the emergency bell lucky we were already in hospital because he dropped weight.

@laurabump27 He was now its better just i feel like i forced him to drink his milk but since they did suction he has picked up sats wise they were 88% now 99% on o2 still at the moment.

Have they looked for a swallow issue!!?

@chesscalouise2 I'll keep you all updated. I just feel like a failure of a mother at the moment. I just sit there at night starring at his little incubator.

@beffgoude he was only 5lb 1oz born. But he then dropped alot of weight.

@beffgoude hoping that it goes ok tonight as there trialing without the oxygen so just the feeding tube. He only weighs 4lb 5oz now.
