I'm a little disappointed sometimes. My bf says that there are couples whose girlfriends do all the house work plus cooking, work a job AND do everything for the kids. I'm sorry but I just don't believe this is the case for moms who aren't single!
So he came home from work for a rain day and gets into bed with our almost 5 month old who is still sleeping. I get downstairs to start laundry and a load of dishes and as soon as I finish, our boy apparently woke up cuz I hear his father yelling my name. I get up the stairs to find that he has turned his back on our son to get away from him crying.
I pick him up and just say good morning and he's instantly happy... like I don't understand this at all. He's been such a good father but hasn't helped around the house unless he's doing it out of frustration. I'm at a loss for words and don't know what to do!!
This isn't something that happens often but just made me feel uneasy. I'm in desperate need of some one on one time with him so we can talk things over. He's a rational man and so loving. But something's just not right.
He's bonding more than ever with our older boy. But values his time out drinking with his buddies over being home with all of us. He's mentioned time and time again how he needs to stop. But nothing changes...
@snow_bunny_diva95, I'm assuming the conversation was successful? I've been with my man for over 5 years and we have had kids for over 2 years now where I've been the stay at home mom. So I get that I'm responsible for the majority of the stuff at home but I feel like we could compromise on some things so it's not so overwhelming for me...
I been w my man for almost 3 yrs and I felt the same way.
Until I sat him down and said look your his father. You need to stop your bull shit. You need to also take care of your son. I can't do everything.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
If on the weekend ur unborn child's father get his son from his bm and barely answers his phone and don't text....what would u think? Do u think he's spending time with the bm as well or he just wants to spend time with His son without being bothered?
Ok I'm 15 And Pregnant And I Don't Know What To Do. I'm Just A Freshman In High School.
My 2 year old keeps screaming all the time. Nothing works to get him to stop. It has got to the point where he is scaring his baby brother. I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm so scared to take him out in public because of this.
Mommas who are separated from their childrens dad. If my sons father is to get our son every other Friday-Sunday, but then tells me halfway through the week he can't take him Friday until Saturday due to taking up an optional shift at work, can I legally tell him he either takes him Friday at his ordered time or doesn't get him? He's constantly cancelling whole weekends or taking our son a quarter of his ordered time. He also isn't following the meets on the order. Almost every Sunday he has him...
energizederica21, yes that's true even single and married women do all those stuff but my husband in my case HAS TO HELP! Because he received my love! My fidelity! My entire dedication as mother and wife! You have to share stuff with your BF! While you clean he clean too while you sleep he can go out with the baby and if want sleep you can put with the baby! Both needs share the home that is why there are couple building a home, if he doesn't want is just good father not good boyfriend or not good future husband
