Gestational diabetes ladies, a question. Have you rung the diabetes clinic with concerns if so what were they?

Yeah all had a meeting, make sure hands are washed. Im really trying to keeo my carbs low but most readings are over 9. Think ill just give them a buzz on monday i guess. Babies already got a big tummy and head 😏
Did they same you to a meeting where they tell you what to eat? I was very surprised. Healthiest cornflakes would send my reading sky high. Also you must remember to wash your hands every time before doing your bloods. There's no harm in ringing them and ask them.
Ive always eaten pretty healthily. My readings have been high since getting my machine, just wondered if i should ring them
My sugar readings were always within limit so I had no concerns.
I had gestational diabetes. They just put me on a strict diet. Saw a consultant now and again. Turned out ok. I lost weight and baby was healthy

I had gestational diabetes they didn't send me to anyone I just had to have a lot more blood tests and extra scans, my baby was almost 10lbs when born but was healthy 🙂 xx @claremagsbell,
