You have to sign papers and prep for surgery. A lot of them get delayed due to emergency c sections coming in.
You'll get an iv put in, you'll have to put a gown on and a cap. They'll administer the epidural and such. Once it's all prepped it takes about 30 minutes and it's done.
Register, pre op which included them asking questions, surgery scrub down, attaching baby to monitor starting an iv and antibiotics. Then I walked to the or and they gave me a spinal. Was there at 6 am my daughter was born at 9:01 am.
