@mama.of.my.prince, it's a historical movie about the Supreme Court case Loving vs Virginia that ruled state bans on interracial marriages unconstitutional. You have to watch it mama. You'll like it.
@kitcatmeow8383, so good. Keep something sweet and a box of tissues near by. It's so sad. It really does portray that time period well and is much more culturally competent about 1950s southern folk. I hate when movies portray cultures in such an awful light. This one did a phenomenal job 🙌🏽

@shayla.galloway, yup and the fact that it was just a few years ago is insane. Not even a generation of time it was legal to do something like that to people. 😩
@avie it was amazing. I hated when they had to leave all because of some paw that black and white people can't be together. I mean me personally I'm not attracted to black men but I see so many beautiful couples that are now and it touches me.
