My baby won't take to my nipples, I'm having to pump every single bottle for her. Any advice?

Have you tried a nipple shield?

Yes try the nipple sheild. I have to use one even now because my baby's mouth is so small compared to my nipples/boobs. Also remember that it will take time for a baby to latch on. Ask to see a lactation specialist if you are still having problems with baby latching on when you use a nipple shield.

Yes I have a nipple shield but she doesn't really like it. I express first so it'll be easier for her but she won't feed more than a few minutes on it

Lactation told me to stop bottles and spend time with baby and just do boob all day. Bottles can really mess with them. With my son I started too soon and too often where with my son I've only used a bottle four times and it was for emergencies. Relax when trying to feed her. My nurse told me to squeeze my boob to get milk out, out some on his lips and then usually they open their mouth then squeeze boob like a hamburger (flat) and that really helped me too

Just tough it out is my best advice and try not to get stressed out . Mentally prepare for a day of her being on boob all day and find a good show to binge watch

My daughter literally nursed for 3 minutes in the beginning. Remember their stomach is small so she's probably getting everything she needs. Keep putting her on the boob she will learn. My daughter wouldn't open wide and would suck on only the tip of my nipple for 3 weeks. She has now mastered her latch and is doing great. Give it time.

Also giving her a bottle or paci this young can cause nipple confusion.
