We've been having the same issue! I second the grip thing for the bottom of the tub. My daughter stands all the time and the grip helps so she doesn't slip. I also got a cover that goes on the facet so if she did slip and fall it won't hurt her really bad. It's made of a hard rubber. Those were the best things I ever invested in.
