Looking for advice on how often to feed my little boy. One midwife said 4 hourly the other said feed when he wakes.
@bonnieb yes weve had the exact same struggles.
What symptoms of an allergy does he have?
How much does he weigh xx
@bonnieb what milk are you on now? Its very had work forcing.. we are struggling now :( xx
I've been told to feed on demand he health visitor cause he's a good weight, but midwife said wake him every two hours but I don't do that... I just feed on demand so when he decides he's hungry I feed him
He doesnt drink a bottle very well and he wouldn't be breastfed. Fingers crossed.
@bonnieb all he does is sleep. I feel bad waking him up but he was so little.
@sarahthe, bless him. You should start to notice a pattern soon x
My lil one fed every 2 hours as thats what she needed and is perfect weight, I would just go with what ever he wants and needs hon X
@haribo83 it's just he was only 5lb 1oz so i wanna make sure im doing everything right first time mum.
I'd do by him. I always did 4 hourly with my other 2, but my third baby has to be fed every 3 hours. There was no way she stretched 4 hours, trust me I tried 😂look for his signals and time how often it seems to be. Some say feed on demand but I think that's more for breastfeeding x
What do y’all feed your 1 year old? My sons pediatrician is concerned with his weight and said to completely cut noodles and potatoes out of his diet.
Do you mommas feed on demand or feed them on a set schedule? Just wondering because my pediatrician said that a schedule is good but the nurses at the hospital said to just feed on demand lol, a little confused. 😥
(Thread Closed) Nighttime feedings
So I got this awesome bottle warmer that has a cooling chamber so you don't have to go to the fridge for a bottle. My husband told his co-worker about it and she asked why we needed it if I'm going to breastfeed. He said its for when I start pumping so he can help with feedings at night. She then said he shouldn't have to get up and help because I don't work.
Thats a good weight hun!
Does he not refuse bottles anymore then? Xx
