It has to do with your jobs policy hun. You need to get that information and rules from them. Every job is different in how they do things.

I believe it's specific from company to company. You need to speak with your employer about what their policy is.

Like my job isn't corporately owned so I can take as many weeks off as i want, but cuz I haven't been with them for a whole year yet, I'm not going to get paid when I'm off. Every company and manager and job is different.

Yes. I don't have to tell them until 60 days prior to my leaving. I just like to know everything in advanced. They did tell me I have to apply for family leave and they think its 6 weeks total I get paid for.I cant remember exactly what she said at the time. But that was all the info I got!

If im remembering correctly they legaly need to give you 6 weeks unpaid and then you can come back they cant terminate you for taken maternity leave but they dont need to pay you

Ok that's what I thought (6 weeks). Im just concerned if I want to be home longer with my baby what will happen 😔
