One of our community centers offers a birthday concert with music, storytime and crafts. If not that than this other one where they do crafts.

That's a fun idea :) I hadn't thought to look for a craft! My son's birthday is in November so we won't be able to do water activities which sucks since I'm used to summer birthdays in my family lol

We had it at my sisters house, she has a pool, and we did crafts with the kids... her birthday is just after the 4th of July... so we bought black construction paper and did paper towel roll firework paintings
