Can you fellow mamas give me some advice. My little baby girl is almost 5 months and she's been rolling over to her tummy and night and falling asleep. I wake up constantly at night to flip her back but it wakes her up. Is it okay she sleeps when she flips over now? She can't flip back onto her back though.

Honestly my daughter has been a Tummy sleeper since 6 weeks old...she would just scream and panic when placed on her back...and if they are rolling on thier own it's ok to let them sleep..

@beebaby, thank you! There's nothing in the crib but her and her binky. I guess it's time to move the mattress down lower 🙂

My baby sister used to do this, I think she will be fine. The way I see it is some people still put their baby's to sleep on their stomachs and they turn out ok. Just make sure there's no blankets or stuffed animals in there with her while she sleeps!

That lets you know she can get out, just make sure the bed is clear

If she cant put herself onto her stomach she is fine.

So we got in super late last night. Had to carry my daughter to bed. She had the nerve to try and wake me up at 7:30am saying she wanted breakfast. Smh (She wanted me to fix her a spread)🙄 I told her to choose some cereal. I'll fix her a bowl. Of course there wasn't any cereal that she wanted today 😴 I told her spoiled ass to figure it out and I went back to sleep 😂🤣 She ate an eggo.

Waking to feed? My dd is a week old and I was told by her doctor to wake her every 2 hours during the day and 3-4 hours at night to feed her. For the first 3 days I did that and when I would wake her fit a night feeding she was fussy and usually wouldn't go back to sleep and would want to nurse constantly until about 9 am. I tried not waking her last night and she slept beautifully! She woke up around 6 hours in and ate then slept another hour or so and ate again. Is it ok to let her sleep?

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning

This week has been the hardest week of my life! Ever since my 1 year old was born she’s always had an AMAZING sleep schedule. She would wake up once a night maybe two but it was rare. As she grew up she stopped waking up at all and would sleep her 9-10 hours straight. Well this week she’s been waking up 4 hours after her bedtime, crying and screaming. I rock her back to sleep but she’s like a ticking bomb, as soon as she feels me putting her on her crib she immediately wakes up crying. It’s taken me 3 hours every night to put her back to sleep and tonight has been so hard! I put her to sleep around 9pm woke up at 10p. She went back to sleep 30 minutes after and at 12:40a she woke up SCREAMING! I tried to put her back to sleep (since I’ve heard never to wake up a sleeping child) but the crying wouldn’t stop and I don’t mean normal crying it was the time of crying as if someone was torturing her. Obviously I just broke down crying😭😭 she’s never been like this before. It’s been so exhausting not only for me but also for her.
