When did you guys give your baby water? My newborn is constipated and someone suggested I give him water or karo syrup in his formula

I suggest using a q tip and some Vaseline, before I'd give any type of fluids other than milk. He's too young.
You can give water only in 6month and only 2oz per day

What I did was boil raisins in water, put it through the strainer, let it cool and gave my son maybe an ounce or two of the water. It really helped and also soothed him well.
@bksmommy, going on 3 days. I rubbed this tummy, did the bicycle movements with his legs and nothing.
Mine was constipated and I gave her prune juice with the formula. Just a few teaspoons. However at that point she was drinking like 5 oz. I see your baby is 3 weeks. How long since he pooped?
Yes same with her. I tried it all including anal stimulation and then the Prune juice did the trick
