@jabarismommy Thats probably what they going to do with my daughter next week after shes evaluated they probably going to send her to a speech therapist so hopefully once she starts therapy i see some improvement man I cant sign her up for headstart cause im not working. Her not being around other kids plays a huge role in it and i can only help and do but so much I got her and a 6 month old to tend to and they both want all my time so.

@proudmommyoftwo_ true lol yeah you barely talked 😂 like when my son is in speech therapy he wont talk to them but as soon as we get in the car or home he starts talking my head off so i had to start recording him for the therapist

@jabarismommy Right that's probably what they going to do with her put her in speech therapy. She says certain words but to them I guess she should be saying more but they got to understand every child is different and she shy like me you know lol I barely talked in school 😂😂

nah but my son still isnt doing the best with his speech so i signed him back up for speech therapy .. she'll start talking soon

oh yeah i was working for a daycare thats the only reason he went .. i cant afford it either i was thinking about putting him in part time for 2 days out the week which is from like 7am-1pm for $60

is she in daycare? daycare did wonders for my son. He barely was talking i put him around kids and he wont stop talking now

@proudmommyoftwo_, that's what I look at too! She's always trying to say words and she's always watching my lips when I say things to her so I know she's trying to learn. The English language is hard to learn

I wouldn't worry too much mama. My daughter is about to be 2 and definitely can't say 50 words. She can maybe say 10. Personally I think drs and other people expect a lot from children. Maybe she just isn't ready to talk yet. 🤷🏼‍♀️that's how I look at it with my daughter

Yeah being around kids her age grouped helped. I think once you're baby gets in headstart it will help her because she'll hear the other kids talk too

Yeah she talks more now but she has like a accent to it because she cant pronounced them right but headstart helped so much
