My 22 month old is still not saying words. All he says are syllables like mama, dada, papa, nana and so on. He is very talkative though But no actual words yet. His pedia said that it's pretty normal with boys but Im still worried that he might have developmental delays. Any mama have or had the same issues?

Start with letter sounds and then get him to mimic you. It is a lot of repetition, time, and high fives

My 2 year old was the same way, we were referred to a speech therapist and she has done wonders. My son loves her. She is an older lady, she comes and plays games with him havubg him mimic her
I have learned a lot from her and so has my son
