Any moms ever have an accident happen to their 7 month old and you feel like the worst mother in the world ?!! 😭😭😭

Bumps and falls are so common, it doesn't make you a bad mom at all! (Contrary to how we feel when it happens). I have spent more time thinking I'm a failure at this than I've probably spent thinking I'm doing good.

When he wakes up, he's going to look to you for cuddles. Trust me. He won't even remember he got hurt...he'll be back to his rambunctious 7 month old self.

He always sleeps so good I hope he doesn't hate me when he wakes up cause his dad barely let me hold him during this and the hospital visit 😭😭😭

Bad lighting cause of where he's sleeping in our bed but it doesn't even look bad at first it was super red

@damiensmommy1117, right! Yet any other day you're never a dad he doesn't do anything with him from day one it's always been me getting up getting no sleep feeding him changing him he just recently started changing pee diapers and it's always a fight to get him to...

@nomaci, I always am the type of person to get looked at to be safe ya know. And I've already prepared myself that this was going to happen from this point up cause he will be walking soon I mean yeah it scared the shit it of me and I wanted to cry but I didn't but I just did in private in the bath tub lol... I'm glad it wasn't far that he fell or way worse I was scared of cause it was so close to his soft spot and in his head... I'm a ftm also

It's never a bad idea to check and be safe!! My sister in law had her 8 month old fall down a flight of stairs because she forgot to latch the gate, and my fiance sliced his hand open on a piece of farm equipment when he was little because his dad wasn't watching.

Oh, it happens. Babies are fearless and way quicker than we expect. They're also way more resilient. I always cry longer than he does whenever he injures himself....but we have taken him to the hospital just to make sure he's okay.

@nomaci, my son fell out of a hammock head first into the cement today my boyfriend and I took him to the ER just to be safe were there for 2 hours and he fell asleep at 9 like usual he was acting fine right away after he stopped crying but my boyfriend acted like I was the worst mother ever and wouldn't let me near him or hold him cause I picked him up right away and his parents were there so I was like we're taking him because it's on his head so I went to get my shoes on and gave him to my father in law and they gave him to my boyfriend

At five months I watched him fall face first, ran to him, went all 'you're okay!' and then saw blood (He cut his lip). I almost died, I felt so horrible! At 8 months he fell and bonked his head on a table, again, felt horrible. The other day he closed his fingers in a drawer, and last night he bonked his head on the arm of the couch....again, horrible. I've decided motherhood is just a never ending stream of "I'm a terrible mother!"
