Moms I need your help! For some reason one of my biggest struggle is trying to figure out what to feed my 9 month old. Especially for breakfast. Most days I'll give her oatmeal with banana puree added to it. And I've started with this yogurt pouch with her bottle.. I would love to add some variety to her breakfast and her meals in general , any suggestions? PS she eats only pureed solids. ( I'm scared to give her a Whole Foods to chew. I'm a first time mom; everything scares me lol)

@xo_tanishala this little girl will choke on her own spit! No joke. So I'm always a little nervous about putting whole food pieces in her mouth. I see our little ones are the same age :-)
I feel the same way you do! Tried stage 3 but she's not a fan yet and gag a little

@sheri-z my daughter ate eggs at like seven months but I scrambled then and mushed them more with applesauce and she loves them.
@raisinghazel okay, I always get so worried that I'm not giving her enough, as far as foods with a good nutritive value. Even though I know it's said the bottle is good enough for the first year... Sigh. Your baby is gorgeous by the way! :-)

When yu feel comfortable try out banana pancakes just cut smaller, my daughter was obsessed and they're not the texture or regular pancakes they more on the mushy side so real easy for baby to eat. If yu have pinterest yu can look up how to make em super super simple. Tht with maybe some yogurt would be a good breakfast or even some eggs, yur baby should be old enough they can chew eggs, just add a little milk to em when yur mixing em to make em a little softer.

My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
