So I'm not having my daughter till November but I'm already having anxiety about breastfeeding during the holidays. Especially at my in laws house. Do I cover her while feeding her do I not cover her, do I pump so that I can just give her the breastmilk I'm a bottle??? Should I sit in someone's bedroom and feed her? I've just been having a lot of anxiety about it! What do you guys do??

It's whatever you feel comfortable doing. I am not comfortable feeding in front of my family I either go to a room or have a pumped bottle

Girl im not even gonna worry about it. Its my child, its mother nature, and my baby is hungry. Fuck what anyone else thinks. I will be respectful and get a nursing cover but if my child needs to eat whether there are people around or not, oh well.

I fed with a blanket/cover. That was nine years ago, this time around I probably won't even bother. Especially around my inlaws! I've seen my sister in laws boob so many times, lol. It's whatever makes you feel more comfortable, but don't feel like you need to isolate yourself to a room all alone. I fed my babies in the middle of a mall, only one or two people gave me a little side eye, and that's strangers, not family. If you're already planning on bottle feeding with breast milk and that thought makes you more comfortable, but don't feel pressure to do it just because. Try not to over think it, and good luck.

Do w.e makes you comfortable. When is feed my son at a family members house is go into a bedroom out if respect for my grandparents
