I put Neosporin on my son at every diaper change with a gauze over it for about a week and sometimes I let him air out without the gauze. You could try that

Just cake on petroleum jelly. I don't think that there is a faster way of getting it heal it will always take a week to a week in a half

No just make sure you are taking care of it properly and it should heal in a week or so.

Don't try to force it to heal faster. Just keep applying the Vaseline and it will be better in no time 😊 I know it's hard to look at
