Ok question should a newborn sleep in a crib or basinett

@ariachannell If shes on a flat surface with no blankets pillows or toys shell be okay. My bassinet has mesh on either side in case baby rolls over they can still breathe. But by that time when theyre strong enough to roll over themselves they can roll back over.

@ariachannell honestly with that, i heard bassinets were worse than cribs. Cribs have more room than bassinets. I got a crib cuz my mom did foster care for years, and defax scrunched their nose up at us for using a bassinet cuz they were more dangerous. Cribs provide more of a wider and flatter surface so the sheet doesn't scrunch up and the baby have plenty of room to move out of corners and such.

Either one with a flat surface, with no blankets, pillows, toys, etc. So whatever is easiest for mom to get up every couple hours I suppose. I plan on using a bassinet.
