When my son was a new born I had the problem to but that's why I boil my sons bottle and I never cheeked the inside where they suck I always clean it with qtips try looking all inside because it can be it's not cleaned right first part of the bottle my sons bottle never smells no more

@claudiaporteous, are the playtex used for formula feeding ??

@ellamas I buy the playtex venti aire bottles , there 3 for $12 and they lasted a little longer then the parents choice bottles in terms of cleanliness and smell !

@claudiaporteous, I try and replace them too but bottles are expensive lol and depends on the brand too

If you buy the cheap ones then it's ok but I use to buy the mam bottles and there $12 for only two and with $12 I can buy 15 bottles of the parents choice bottles lol

Yeah so does mine. I feel like it's just the constant use...

I try to replace them every month or 2 when they start to smell
