Does anyone know if amniotic fluid can be replaced if lost? I'm being monitored because my cervix has been shortening and I'm only about to be 20 weeks. Just a little while ago a felt a gush and just now I felt it again. I'm on my way to the hospital and I'm sure they're going to follow through with a cerclage but I'm just wondering if I have lost some amniotic fluid, if I'll be able to make more to compensate? I'm so scared I hope my baby's ok :(

With my last pregnancy my ob told me around 30 weeks I had lost some so they monitored me in about two weeks later he said it was fine again so I'm not sure how it works but I think it might be possible... I hope everything is OK

Thank you girls.❤️ thank God, it wasn't amniotic fluid... it was just the vaginal progesterone I've been inserting.. but I'm still going to have to get a cerclage. My baby is doing great tho! He's still baking! So happy to walk out of the hospital with good news.❤️
