Nope. Don't think so. I know some people have to have c sections because they don't dilate.

With my first baby tried to get me induced and after 36 hours I only opened 5cm, so they decided to do a c-section.

Nope. Pitocin only triggers contractions. "Medically induced contractions", and only SOME people's bodies will dilate on their own. 50% of inductions end in c-section. // always only agree to induction for medical reasons. A lot of doctors will offer when ladies hit 38/40 weeks and say "because the baby is large, you can always choose to induce". Which, is hardly the case. Many doctors will offer this because they know they will make 3x as much off a surgery than regular delevery. And since 50% of inductions lead to c-sections, it's easy money for them. Always trust your gut and stand your ground. 👏🏼 There are many many good reasons to induce. But, "being full term" and "the baby may be large" isn't one of them. Weight can be wrong up to a solid pound and a half. 💕

Hell no. I got a c section. Wasn't dilating past 3 and I was losing fluids. I was induced for two full days. Tell your friend (if they get induced) that a mama on the app suggests pain management (as in an epidural). Don't try and be brave for too long. Of course wait as long as possible since you may quickly progress but if it's start getting hard don't be a superhero natural mom. I did that and it wasn't pretty at ALL. What they give you for induction is very painful.
