Moms my son is about to drive me up the wall 😂. Okay so here's the story... my son has been using the same old pacifier for about 9 months. It got soft over time and soggy. Tonight was the end of that. My son was walking around and all of a sudden I see two parts on the floor. One half of the pacifier on one side of the room and the other still on his chest attached to the pacifier holder. Moms my son is attached to this thing. How do I get him to slowly stop depending on one. Yes I know I should have been done this step but I'm a first time mom and I didn't really want him crying all the time lol. Any advice?

Threw them all out my first just forgot about it and my second didn't really take pacis so he was off by 3 months
@sherekaw123 Yup. She had put one in her mouth backwards and was choking on it so we were done with them right there.
I just threw all of them away and she was over it in 2 days.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
You couldn't find a babysitter?!
Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyw...
Any 1st time moms who had a c-section? My due date is Wednesday. At my Dr appt today, my Dr said I'm not dilated at all. My baby has been measuring big all along, and my Dr now estimates he is about 9.5lbs and doesn't think I can deliver him naturally... so she scheduled me for a c-section on Thursday. This is my 1st baby, and I really don't know how to feel about it all.

This is my son Walter. Today is his birthday. He would have been five. This picture was taken when he was 16 days old. He was my first child and my only son (I now have 3 girls). He passed away the next day after this picture from congenital heart failure. It was a miracle that he lived passed 12 weeks gestation because of how severe his heart defects were. I miss him so much, I can't believe it's been 5 years. It still hurts so bad. I don't talk about him a lot out loud because I end up bawling...
