First time mom here... MaLeah (5 days old) hasn't pooped since yesterday around 4 pm... she's still eating, just it seems like she's straining to poop sometimes.. she's still passing gas though. Should I be worried?

@rleann123, she was pooping every time I burped her 😂 so it kinda scared me that she hadn't.. I literally cried changing her wet diaper cause there was no poop 🙄😂

Maybe she's straining to pass gas...my son still does that. My doctor said some newborns only poop twice a week! I hope she poops soon, don't stress mommy!

She should be fine for now. Her body just has to adjust and get into a rhythm. My sons pediatrician said they shouldn't go more than 3 days without popping.
