Violet is 2 weeks old today & he umbilical cord didn't fall off yet. How long does it usually take? The pediatrician told me to avoid bathing her and sponge baths until it falls off, but baby girl needs a bath!

@brownsugarluv, that's what I thought, but the doctor told me not to. But idc I'm doing it tonight cause the poor thing needs a bath so bad

You can sponge bath her. Just don't get the cord wet.

I put a towel down for my babies and sponged them on it.
