So annoyed Now my daughter has yellow gooey stuff in her eye & idk if its because people keep kissing on her face and I'm so tired of repeating myself on people not kissing her face
@pinkxoxo, omg she's been busy. Lol that would irritate me.. I can't stand for little kids to be all up in my baby's face. I recently went to a family reunion on my hubbys side and for some stupid reason his brothers ex stays for the family thing rather than just dropping off her teenage children (that belong to his brother) and she brings all 3 of her other kids (with the guy she cheated with) 🙄who are little and annoying. They're hyper and kept getting in the baby's face trying to touch her and I finally told my husband give me the baby I'm going outside. That's just too many germs for us. Ugh
My nephew had an overactive eye duct for his first few weeks of life. His one eye was always gooey and crusty and gross. The doctor gave them drops for it, I think. But a wet, lukewarm cotton ball should help keep it from building up.
Put some breast milk in her tear ducts and tell them stop kissing your baby. Her immune system is extremely fragile and she can get really sick. They need to respect your wishes.
@oceanna.w yea my daughter was born like that too her left eye was closed & thats the eye she has the discharge in
My daughters left eye was kinda closed when she was born but it opened within a few minutes .. so idk if her eye was already like this .. but and after a few days idk if it was people touching her but it was a blocked tear Duct .. like @fasciamom, says , eye drops and massaging w warm facecloth should help..& if that dousnt (much like my situation) the doc took a swab of her eye and gave us antibiotics to take for 10 days . It's all gone now but her eye is watery once Ina a while throughout the day 🤷🏽♀️

Dont let anyone kiss your baby. Babies cant fight off germs like others can. I stayed home for like 2 months before i even went back to church. I even posted on facebook DO NOT VISIT until we're ready for you. My parents were the inly ones allowed in my house and i made them wash their hands first. Lol i read an article about a baby passing away because someone with herpes kissed her and she couldnt fight it off after it went through her system. Id say your baby cought a little cold from someone. Hopefully not pink eye. I would most def tell his niece to take a hike. i would tell her mom, too. Lol gotta protect our babies. People dont respect that. I feel for ya

My kids all had this, it's probably a blocked tear duct. If your breastfeeding, a few drops will clear it up. Otherwise, it usually clears up on its own :)
Usually that just means ur babies eyelashes are coming in same thing happened to my son and thats what the dr told me.... Has nothing to do with kisses

I would smack the shit out of them. I don't even want their hands or fingers in my baby's face. Im going to carry around a bottle of sanititizer and also tell people to wash their hands if they wanna hold her.

Does anyone know what this could be? I'm not sure if its just from her laying on her face, me kissing her all day or her dad thinks its from grease off his shirt from work😣 it doesn't seem to bother her idk if its an allergic reaction to something, I did give her a little infant tylenol but I had given it to her yesterday because she got her shots and her legs are still kind of sore and she's fussy so I didn't know if maybe that's why she's been fussy and she didn't get this on her face...any ideas?
His face wouldn’t of looked like that in the mug shot 🤷🏾 ♀ . I’ve had two people my whole life kiss me kids randomly. One was a lady in church( my mom pulled me away because I was about to fill her with the Holy Ghost.) and the other was a girl in the store who I knew had autism and some other delays. I didn’t go off on her I told her mother and she talked to her about it. Both of those were on the forehead.
