Anyone have any experience getting a breast pump from wic?? Went to my last appt and they didn't schedule another appt. The lady just told me to make an appt when my baby is born?
@jodeciafranklin, no cash assistance unfortunately but it is different from food stamps. They give you a little booklet of different food brands you can buy from and they give you a certain amount of food you can get every month but the amounts increase as your pregnancy progresses which is pretty good and it's not bad for getting everything free haha
@dodgers.1313 sweet! Any cash assistance? Is it different from food stamps
@korahleah_11, I was thinking about doing that instead of waiting for my wic to provide one
@mama2kyns, ohh okay thanks!! I was wondering why she didn't make another appt or something to get all that situated with
@jodeciafranklin, you receive food benefits for stuff like milk, cheese, bread, and even formula. It's actually really helpful
Usually they just "rent" their pumps out. So you do have to wait until after you have the baby. Though insurance will cover for a pump!
Are you gunna BreastFeed?
