Is your OB having you fast for your glucose test? Mine isn't, she said fasting would cause the results to be inaccurate since it's supposed to be based off your diet so both should be changed.. I'm confused because I keep seeing people post about fasting before it....

Mine did not. If you pass the one hour without fasting, you definitely don't have diabetes. But if you fail you'll fast for the 3 hour.

Yes you honestly should fast because eating could actually have inference because your adding extra sugar when you drink that drink. If you didn't have to drink the drink I could understand eating. But I guess everyone dr is different lol

My one hour test, no. I was told to eat as I normally do. I failed that one. Had to fast for my 3 hour test and passed that one.

With my son they had me take it by surprise. So they never told me to fast. I had done the test earlier in this pregnancy and it was also a surprise. I'm taking it again in two weeks and they didn't say to fast. Just said to go as early in the morning as I can.

Mine told me to eat normally before my test and that I only couldn't eat or drink once I got to the doctor that day.

I was told for mine that I needed to eat a high protein low sugar breakfast with no juice or soda just water before the test. No fasting required. So I had eggs and bacon before I went in. And I passed

@saniyyahhasan oh well I didn't need to do that one. And my baby is measuring only one week ahead and that just started last week. I had my glucose test done 10 weeks ago lol

My midwife had me not eat anything after 12:00am Thursday night

And Friday morning I was instructed to have 2 eggs and a cup of grape juice an hour before my test
