So this is off topic from babies and motherhood, but I'm just extremely disappointed in my MIL :( her (soon-to-be) ex-husband was an asshole. He would get drunk and smack my butt and things of that nature. I thought that was all in the past since she has moved out. But her new/ semi-serious boyfriend was charged with sexual assault on two women (we googled him and saw his charges and mugshot)! Apparently, the charges were dropped, but we will never actually know what happened... am I being completely selfish for not wanting to be around that? I've just had a lot of things happen to me in the past and I don't want to be uncomfortable at her house.. again. Ugghh. She thinks me and my hubby are being silly because "she knows him now" and "he wouldn't do that". Maybe I've just learned that a nice exterior doesn't mean shit sometimes.
