So I'm having very heavy bleeding like im going through super tampons in under an hour. My period isn't supposed to start for another week and a half at least. It. Started bleeding Sunday and was having nausea all day Saturday. Is this normal? I've never bled like this before.
Just go to the ER. They will bill you, you won't have to pay anything while you are there. They have to treat you, and by what you described you could have had a miscarriage or a ruptured cyst. Either way with that amount of blood loss you should get checked out.
After you get the bill you can call their billing dept and tell them you're income situation they will lessen the amount and let you make small payments.
Good luck with bleeding as much as you are it may be a good idea to get some iorn pills or eat liver if you like liver because your iorn is probably low it took me a while to get my iorn back up when my tube ruptured so don't be surprised if you feel sluggish for a while
@mommysbabies oh okay. I'll call my ob/gyn and see what they say and if they think I need to be seen I'll go.
Or some places call it urgent care it's for non emergencies but like er but cheaper
Most ers have sliding fee scales and if you continue to bleed like that you're going to end up there but you can go to quick care also have you looked into Obamacare it's different than Medicaid I know trump is trying to get rid of it but at least it would be something in mean time
I trip to the ER could cost hundreds... I can barely afford to pay my rent... 😣
@qxeenbreezy_ I get off work at 3... Maybe I'll call them when I get home. I hate this. I hate knowing that I can't afford to go to the doctor even if there is something wrong... Like i need to just pretend like everything is okay. This really sucks. (Sorry to rant a little there)
He does and we put our daughter on his too but we still won't give me insurance. And since we aren't married I can't be on his. Unfortunately my work doesn't provide insurance to its employees... But I just need to know that I'm okay that its not a miscarriage or something from an unknown pregnancy...
What?! That's crazy I'm in the same predicament all they did was add them both to my case. He doesn't get insurance through his job?
Yeah, I'd go in if I were you just to make sure you're okay. Even if you just call your OBGYN and ask
I had Medicaid and they took it from me. They said that because I live with my bf and my daughter we make too much as a household.
@qxeenbreezy_ my daughter is going on 13 months and around 7- 9 periods since then. They've been irregular but never heavy.
You should try getting Medicaid, even if you get it after a doctors visit they should be able to cover the expenses for you
Heavy or light periods are normal after having a baby especially if it's your first period. It's gonna take your body some time to regulate, but the nausea (at least to me) is concerning
@qxeenbreezy_ I dont have health insurance... And I was only nauseous on Saturday...
I wonder if Medicaid is different by state
Cause we're not married and he's on my case just because we have a child together
That's fucking ridiculous
Oh yeah! Definitely what Andrea.Herrington said. You can always ask if you can pay in payments. But YOU tell them what can afford don't let them tell you
