Question: I am currently in nursing school which starts back August 21. I am due to have baby September 26. So right after I have baby I will have to return back to classes ( no break and no exceptions) which could be the day after I have baby. I don't have anyone to keep baby in my home but can get my child's grandmother to keep her while I'm at school. Is it safe to take baby out that early or should I make arrangements to get someone to stay at my home with baby while I'm in class. I don't want my baby to get sick for being out to soon
@sabby, thank you so much. I was just nerves about having her out so early l, but I'm make sure she is nice and wrapped up. It warms me up and make me so happy when I'm told I make others proud thank you so much @sabby,
😭 oh man, I'm so sorry you don't have any time... I'd you bring the baby she's going to need to nurse every hour or two 😢 seems like nursing school should know that a mother needs to nurse her child and be with her baby as a top priority 😭 sending you big hugs
@ndharlen yep that is perfect or if you have a carseat cover or a blanket to cover the carseat when getting her in and out
@keishacrabtree.kc, okay thank you so much for that information. I was really concerned. So I should just wrap her up really good and she should be fine. I want even have her out that long, just long enough to put her in and out of the car
I would get someone to stay at home with the baby... The babies immune system will just be getting used to germs and I would rather be safe Than sorry.
Its safe to take the baby out that early. I know some ppl say not to expose them to germs or anything like that but it's good for the baby to be exposed to germs cause that's what builds up their white blood cells to fight off germs and infection and if the baby isn't exposed to them then they will have a low immune system and won't be able to fight off a simple cold by themselves
@zachattackmomma, yea they don't my care at all. I can't breast feed because of school I'll have to formula feed her
