So... I'm reading that I should separate feeding and sleeping with another activity so he doesn't associate eating with sleeping. But how do I do that when my little guy just started teething and I'm supposed to "top him off" before bed? How do I teach my little guy to fall back asleep on his own when he wakes up in the middle of the night? I don't want to create bad habits. 🙈

Sleep train later if you want to. I started sleep training at 11 months, but still breastfeed, rock, then put him down 😁

We still breastfed to sleep and love it, it's bonding and helps him relax, at two months let him nurse as much as he wants and sleep when he wants 😍👍😊 happy baby = happy mommy

@lonna_dee, I wouldn't worry about creating a bad habit now. At this age it's best to feed on demand and with him teething he might end up wanting to nurse even more often than before. Eating and sleeping aren't really associated together at this time right now nursing is associated and used for everything. I think that's the cool thing about boobs is that they're so soothing and can be used in any situation and there's no risk of over feeding! At some point I'm sure he'll be to the age where it could become habit but he's still very little and if he's nursing it's because he needs to nurse not out of habit :)

Мама двоих (младенец)

My doctor told me when to slow down on feedings at night. I think at that age they still feed at night. She advised that I let them whine at night & only get them if they actually wake up. She said somethings a baby wakes in their sleep for a few moments to pee, or it's cold, or to get comfortable, etc. like we do in our sleep. Also suckling is relaxing to baby which is why often times they go to after or during a feeding. Now that my boys are older they don't go to sleep after every feeding. They kinda grew out of it.

Is he bf?

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
