Anybody have a c section and their legs and feet swelled up because of iv fluids? Mine are puffy and what did you do for them to go down.

I try to drink lots of water but I also have a pill that helps me stop bloating. It has corn silk in it. I'd have to look at the bottle to remember what it's called.
My feet were so swollen I couldn't fit into my shoes!!!
It did go down gradually, but took at least a week after we got home!
I kept them up as much as possible, drank lots of water, and just waited for them to go down. Took about 10-14 days.
Walk around. And massages help too elevate your feet and massage them then get up and walk around for a bit. This happened to me when I was hospitalized during my last pregnancy I swelled up like crazy from 8 bags of IV fluids they gave me.
Oh and drink LOTS of water to flush your system

My right arm swelled because of the fluids, the nurse just took the iv out and waited for the swelling to go down on its own!
