If I drink coffee then breastfeed will that effect my baby in any way?

@noahs.mommy, it's my first cup since I gave birth. So like 2 and a half weeks.
I am a Coca-Cola addict. I drink 3 per day. I also do coffee but try to cut out a soda if I do. My baby sleeps and naps fine.
@alimtz0510 i drank ONE cup of coffee while breastfeeding and my mom told me not too because it can decrease your supply. No it didn't make my son not sleep actually whatever we drink, VERY little of it gets into our breast milk. Just be aware of your supply if it starts to decrease.
@alimtz0510, no it had no effect on my son what so ever I have drank it at all times of the day including night time sometimes I still limit myself to two or three cups a day but sleep wise he slept like a rock still lol
@shyshy2.3, but did it cause your baby to not be able to sleep?
They say stay away from caffeine but tbh I drank it through my pregnancy & a year of breastfeeding & still counting my son is fine infact he has never had any health issues and he's always been perfect in all the percentiles the doctors have ❣️ It's better then doing drugs and breastfeeding so drink up some coffee ❤️ lord knows most days we need it to get by lol
