This was our backseat after the beach. Arms and legs and sand everywhere. They take up so much space now, the group of them. And it reminds me of the thing that is always in the back of my mind: life is on a countdown to the end. Not like death or anything (I'm crazy young and I'm going to live to be super elderly, tyvm), but like death of my mommyhood. To this point when I will then just be a mother.
