Well this is a fucked up situation but usually the woman he lies to because he doesn't want to hurt her. If a man is cheating and lying to one its because he loves her but if he's telling the truth to the one he's cheating with about his life it's because he wants her to think she has him but really he just wants a side chick to have sex with.
Or even if he's not sleeping with the side chick which can happen he is trying to keep her in his life because he likes the attention and lying to the one he loves so he doesn't hurt her
Or in a lot of cases he might be telling the side chick the truth because he might think he loves her and wants to be with her but really it's just lust and something new and exciting and continues to lie to the other woman because that's who he truly loves.
The woman he tells the truth to. It doesn't necessarily have to be about cheating but even if it was I think the one he loves. Unless he yells out of anger then he just hates her. Lol
